Timing is everything, especially for The 5TH.
We’ve got an unusual business model. So we thought we’d explain why.
1. Exclusive by time. Not by price.
We always want what we can’t have. But when we have to work for, or wait for, something – it means a lot more to us. Overly luxurious, expensive products aren’t our style, and we’re tipping if you’re reading this, it’s not your style either. Our products are offered with very limited availability, which means they’re exclusive, but not expensive. This is something that’s important to us.
2. 5TH products on the 5TH day, guaranteed.
The 5 day-period defines the time that our products are actually available every month. Instead of ‘out-of-stock, back-in-stock’ happening all the time, this way it’s absolute: our customers know – by the 5th of every month, the online store is stocked and ready for purchase, for five days.
3. Your vibe attracts your tribe.
By not pushing sales every day, we’ve got the rest of the month to have a different conversation with you guys, our audience: about creating, inspiring, and generally having a lot of fun. This is the heart of The 5TH: creating the vibes that we ourselves would want to engage with.
We knew what we wanted when we started The 5TH; to connect and collaborate with people. It brings back to life our director Alex’s initial vision. To take opportunities when presented with them, and to celebrate the creative doers of this world. It’s a never-ending story, and we’re excited to see it unfold.
